February 24, 2009 Dr. Roxanne Schreiber Roxanne Schreiber, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist. She received her doctorate from University of Southern Mississippi and completed her clinical residency at the Oklahoma Clinical Health Consortium. Dr. Schreiber has been working with children and families for the past 19 years. While obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Family Studies she worked full-time in a residential treatment center for children and adolescents. In the capacity of a Unit Supervisor, she was responsible for training and supervising the clinical staff to provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Furthering her clinical experience Dr. Schreiber worked for Children Protective Services, providing ongoing investigative and case-management services. Transferring to Community Mental Health, Dr. Schreiber spent the next three years, writing and implementing therapeutic programs for children and families in a 23 county catchment area. After obtaining her Ph.D. in Psychology, Dr. Schreiber was a professor at Texas Tech University for a year before joining a large private practice in the Houston area. She has been in private practice for the past 8 years and specializes in children, families, individuals, couples and groups. WOMAN OF THE YEAR CASSANDRA VOUTCHAS The Houston Area celebrated all of the Women of the Year, on Saturday May 31st at the Junior League! This year's Woman of the Year Event was a fabulous luncheon at the Junior League. It was an elegant affair with ladies turned out in their luncheon finest to honor these women of distinction! Our president Cassandra Voutchas, was the Woman of the Year representing HAPEN. We met so many outstanding women from all over Texas. The lunch was delicious and the mimosa's were delightful! Everyone should congratulate Cassandra. She is a exemplary example of Woman of the Year and a wonderful representative of HAPEN.
